Although Winston Fitzgerald's recorded repertoire has often been thought of as mainstream Cape Breton music, during the 1930s he played for a spell with Hank Snow and along the way picked up some repertoire from south of the border.

Winston recorded this popular tune on a 78 disc he made in the 1950s (reissued to LP in the 60s). Today it is played by Maritime and Cape Breton fiddlers alike.

Notation above comes from Winston Fitzgerald Collection.
