The Fogotten Fiddler of the 1920s

Fiddle player, singer and band leader, Packie Dolan from Co. Longford is one of the outstanding but forgotten figures from the golden age of Irish traditional music recording in America in the 1920s.

We are fortunate that Packie's music survived on 78 records as his life and promising career were tragically cut short by his untimely death in New York in 1932.
