This pipe hornpipe has been a Cape Breton favorite for years after being popularaized by Theresa MacLellan and Cameron Chisholm. Composed by Donald Shaw Ramsay, the compiler of The Edcath Collection (a famous mid 20th century pipe book) it was recorded by Ashely MacIsaac on Fine Thank You Very Much and by Willie Kennedy One of the classic typos of all time occurred on Theresa's 1977 Rounder LP where the title was given as Tam Bain Slum. see - The Cape Breton Highland Collection
