So far, 2016 has been a hard year for Cheticamp as they have lost three of their finest fiddlers: Joe Cormier, b.1927, Arthur Muise, b.1950, and most recently Marc Boudreau b.1985.Howie MacDonald helped to re-popularize the above traditional Acadian tune as The Cheticamp Reel back in the 1980s. He had learned it from home recordings of Arthur Muise. According to The DunGreen Collection, Arthur had learned it from Angus Chisholm. Circulating with more than one title, it is also known as The Judique Flyer.
